Implementing Wishlist for Video on the Web, 21 August 2007 (Work in Progress - comments welcome)
- an ability to associate/display a still image - or first frame on the webpage to indicate video - possibly covered by irrelevant tag
- choice of streaming or download of entire clip - media/video/audio elements
- captioning for the hearing impaired/description for the visually impaired/alternate languages -lang tag
- dubbing/alternate audio streams - multilingual
- Ability to provide alternate versions of video - for those with limited bandwidth/alternate devices- network states?
- Timecoded playlists
