In 2007, the Greater Sydney population is around 4.5 million people. This makes it an interesting place to live. But as the population increases, we need to plan to ensure that it is viable to live and work in Sydney.

Many australian organisations are establishing green programs and attempting to demonstrate their green credentials in their annual reports. Some are categorising these initiatives as part of their advertising or marketing budget by funding charities and worthy causes. Others are taking a more holistic and ethical approach by assessing the environmental impact of their business activities.
