A capacity audience, of over 450, filled the pews of the Hunter Baillie Memorial Church in Annandale, to hear Roger Woodward perform Chopin in the final concert of the Hunter Baillie's 17th Spring Festival of Music.

The distinguished guests included the Vice Consul of Poland and Deputy Mayor of Leichhardt Rochelle Porteus. The support of Principal Sponsor Benton's was acknowledged.

In memoriam Sir Bruce Williams KBE 1919-2010..."Today's concert is a modest tribute to thank this gentle man and his whimsical sense of humour for all he did for the Sydney Spring throughout the 'nineties and for new music in this city" - Roger Woodward AC, OM(Poland), Chevalier dans l'ordre des arts et des letters, OBE. Distinguished Patron of the Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church Spring Festival of Music.

Following the concert and several encores, Roger Woodward joined the audience for the usual home made afternoon tea, in the Hunter Baillie Church Hall.

Annandale is fortunate to count in our community the Director of the Spring Festival of Music, Ralph Lane, his wife, Ticket Mistress Caroline Mackie and the Congregation of the Hunter Baillie who have secured Roger Woodward's distinguished patronage of the Spring Festival of Music, over 17 years, and his performance today. Proceeds from the Concert and Afternoon Tea go to the Organ Restoration Fund
