The Hunter Baillie Church has applied for $30,000 to provide better lighting
in the historic Church Hall.
The Church Hall (older than the church itself!) is used not only by members
of the church, but by a number of local community groups, by children from
the local school, by the Song Company and by the Sydney University
Graduates' Choir.
Verity Firth is asking her electorate to vote for the projects to receive a portion of the Balmain electorate's $300,000, to provide her with a basis for her recommendations to the Premier for funding under the NSW Government Community Building Partnerships scheme.

The next Hunter Baillie Concert will be the world premiere performance by the Sound Academy followed by a fabulous afternoon tea, with the musicians and the local community, in the Church Hall for just $5. Concert: 3pm Sunday, 1 November 2009.
