What would you do if you found £735,000 of someone else's ill gotten gains in used bank notes and thought the owner had no way of tracing you?

When it happens to mild mannered accountant, Henry Perkins, he decides he'll immediately fly First Class to Barcelona and start a new life. His wife, Jean, wants to stay home, as planned, and celebrate Henry's birthday, with their friends, Vic and Betty. But before long, not one, but two Police Inspectors turn up. The first Inspector attempts to blackmail Henry, while the second Inspector arrives to inform Jean that Henry's body has been found floating in the Thames with two bullet holes in the back of his head.

London's Daily Telegraph announced, "Ray Cooney is a national treasure", and the Sunday Times was moved to declare, "Farce lovers are in for two and a half hours of inspired, demented bliss."
