Principle 6 Ensure ICT respects Human Factors
Ensure that ICT meets the current and evolving needs of all the "people in the process"
- consider needs and ensure they are still relevant
- Conflict in the information systems development environment is largely regarded to be destructive, an impediment to effective project progress and ultimately project success. Whether that conflict is overt or covert does not appear to be a particularly significant factor. In fact, this research study suggests that there is very little conflict that is so covert it does not become apparent during a project. The most potentially damaging type of conflict appears to be conflict among users. - Conflict as a Factor in Information Systems Failure Leoni Warne, 1997
